While at the iSPA convention this year, we discovered this little puppy! It's the Foot File XL Pro. Here's what it does and all the details:
Get Back to Your Baby Soft Feet… With just one use !
Calluses are your body's way of protecting its soft; vulnerable skin from too much stress on your feet. The Microplane® Foot File is the first step in solving this problem by gently, (yet effectively), removing the dead skin cells that are hiding your baby soft skin underneath.
How Does It Work?
The Microplane® Foot File uses a variation of the patented Microplane® Grater technology which allows you to zest an orange (skimming off the tough zest) and leaving the soft pith. In a similar (yet gentler) process on your foot, the dead skin comes right off, leaving the baby soft skin below.
The XL Pro features REPLACEABLE filing and buffing cartridges, a longer handle, and a skin receptacle designed as part of the handle. Its tiny files work to massage more skin area at once and also prolong the life of each blade compared to the orb or paddle style Foot Files. The curved, extended reach handle is easily positioned to lessen stress and strain as you access the bottom of your foot.
Why Is This Better Than Other Foot Softening Methods?
Other files just rub the skin off. This can either be very time consuming or simply does not work on thicker calluses. Creams take days and weeks to sink in and do not get rid of the unwanted skin layers.
